Emberbound Saga

Emberbound Saga is the kind of RPG I wish more studios made for phones. It's turn-based, so you're never fighting your touchscreen during combat, and the party system gives you real reasons to swap characters depending on the enemy. I spent most of my first evening just reading the surprisingly sharp dialogue.

The battle math is readable and fair. You can see exactly why an attack did what it did, which makes experimenting with builds feel smart instead of random. Dungeons are compact, so you're never lost for an hour. It saves locally and never once asked me to go online.

If you want a long single-player story you can chip away at over weeks, this is an easy recommendation. The only rough edge is a slow opening chapter, but once your party opens up it clicks.
