Building a solid offline folder before your next flight
The night before a long trip is prime time for building an offline game folder, and the trick is variety. One genre gets stale after a few hours, so I like to pack a spread.
Start with something slow you can sink into, like a strategy game such as Ironhold Command. Then add a pick-up-and-play racer for when you want energy, and a cozy sim for when you're tired.
Round it out with a puzzle game and a casual tapper for those awkward five-minute waits. That mix covers almost any mood, and all of it runs without a signal.
Download everything the night before, confirm each one opens on airplane mode, and you're set. Nothing worse than discovering at 30,000 feet that your 'offline' game wants to phone home.
